I bought a new nissan door assembly unit and it appears to be not moving freely. I can hear the actuator operating in the door lock assembly but not actually locking the door. I have removed the drivers side seat in order to remove some of the door trim to get at the locking mechanism. If i press the central locking fob it locks all door apart from the drivers it arms the alarm and if i return to the vehicle after a minute pull the handle on the driver side door it opens and the alarm goes off any help appreciated pete.
